Was anyone else aware that Stripchat databases were leaked exposing users and models records?

Are you referring to the data leak from a few years ago or a new more recent breach?

I am talking about one that occurred in 2021.

Having been a member since before then I am just surprised I didn't know anything about it!

Hence me asking if others were aware.

Apparently 200 million records of Stripchat webcam models and users were exposed due to insecure databases.

Also, in June 2022 10 million records were published on a hacking forum!

So what do you reckon, is Stripchat safe?

Have there been any other insecurities, breaches, hacks, leaks that we need to be aware of?

I would say so, as safe as any other website!

I think it is a good thing that you are aware, I mean a lot of sites would just cover it up.

I don't think this is true though, nobody actually broke into the site it was unintentionally made available by the site.
