CamModelProtection - Scam DMCA Service - DO NOT USE!

Just a word of advice to fellow models who use or are considering using Cam Model Protection (cammodelprotection.com) services.

DO NOT USE CAM MODEL PROTECTION.

As a chaturbate model, in additional to camming my side hustle is affiliate marketing, which includes the promotion of other Chaturbate models. So I have a few websites that utilise Chaturbate's affiliate promo tools, all content on my websites is all legal content, there is no single instances of copyright infringement.

Recently I have started receiving countless DMCA from Cam Model Protection on behalf of many Chaturbate models, themselves unknowingly instructing this DMCA takedown service to issue fraudulent DMCAs.

They are not offering a legitimate DMCA service, using bots to scrape the internet (mainly just search engines), to find all content that mentions the model, including all legitimate affiliate content, and sending DMCAs to everything it finds, no checking to confirming that the DMCA is legitimate.

Affiliates bring in a huge chunk of the traffic that comes to Chaturbate and our chat rooms, which means when a Cam Model Protection issue a fraudulent DMCA on behalf of a model, the model themselves are actually reducing the traffic to their cam room which each and every single request.

Furthermore, affiliates are now massing and starting to begin legal action against Cam Model Protection, which will in turn drag models themselves into it, which is the last thing we want. I mean we instruct these companies to remove our content from the intenet but might actually end up with more, including personal information!

So if you are a webcam model, do not use Cam Model Protection.

I'm an affiliate and have a history with these guys.

They whitelisted most of my domains but still get endless DMCA notices from them.

I shall be sending them a formal letter shortly with an formal demand for payment for my time in dealing with them.
