Chaturbate models stealing from affiliates

Post by Danilo »

I know Chaturbate allow models to use the affiliate program and to share their links via their camroom, but the affiliate reps always reassured affiliates that it was 1st click credit so if an affiliate sends a customer who signs up, even if they click the models affiliate link, the affiliate will be credited.

It seems models are now circumventing this by advising existing chaturbate customers to create a brand new account using their affiliate link via a incognito/private browser tab/window to ensure that only the model will be credited the customer and future sales commission.

If you believe you have had referred users re-register under a models affiliate link, contact chaturbate support.

I know of affiliates who have had their former users reassigned to them and compensated for lost commissions.

This has always been an issue with chaturbate but it does look like they are cracking down on models who are taking the piss.

Asking members to create new accounts using the models affiliate link and clearing cookies/private browser is also pretty low.

The chaturbate site should prevent any referral links on their site, filtering them at point of publish to remove the affiliate element.

Posting links on a site which are intended for affiliates to drive traffic to said site isn't affiliate marketing, it's theft.
