Chaturbate affiliate income down?
It seems to be the common theme now among Chaturbate's affiliates.
Income has slowly but surely dwindled despite continuing free registrations.
Revshare is almost non-existent, and the whales stopped spending completely some time ago.
What do you think is the issue with this program? Site decline, models stealing members, chaturbate shaving, or something else?

Re: Chaturbate affiliate income down?
Their cam models have systematically encouraged their biggest spenders to create new accounts under their own affiliate link and taken the cream from the whales that legitimate affiliates brought to them - talk about ungrateful.
Moving forward there needs to be a zero tolerance to this kind of activity, in fact models should not be allowed to have affiliate links on their profiles, or any leaks that lead to somewhere where they engage in such tactics to entice users to re-register, then this should result in a lifetime ban from the affiliate program, and users who are privy to their scam, reallocated to the original affiliate.

Re: Chaturbate affiliate income down?
It looks like chaturbate may be looking to clean up their program and listen to affiliates concerns, a new reps has appeared on another webmaster forum and asking what they can do to improve the program. They have said that where they have investigated users who affiliate believe have been poached by models that in the majority of instances that this is not the case.
If you witness or suspect models enticing existing users to rejoin then you should report it to affiliates@chaturbate.com and they will investigate and take the appropriate action.
You can complete the Chaturbate affiliate program feedback questionnaire at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8THHBJD

Good to hear. The only trouble with having to go to the effort of emailing chaturbate the users that you suspect to have been enticed to a model's affiliate account, is that we all know that users can go years without spending a penny then all of a sudden become a big spender. So basically this would mean sending the user ID of every user you have ever referred, in which case it would be far simpler for chaturbate to have a facility that queries all users details, name, address and payment information for duplicates that were referred by a legitimate affiliate who then created a new account assigned to a model.

To be honest I would be more than happy and regain trust in the program if models were removed from the affiliate program all together, models who entice users are not affiliates. As a bare minimum no chaturbate affiliate links should be allowed on model profiles.
