When you visit https://www.MyFreeCams.com as a guest you are now redirected to bouncer.myfreecams.com and presented with the above modal box requiring you to either log in or verify your age and register.
Since when did it become a legal requirement in the UK to need to verify your age to access these sites, as MFC seem to be the only site requiring age verification.
Is everyone from the UK seeing this verify age page?
If you already have an account you can log in, unsure if those who have never tipped and are therefore not age verified will be able to access the cams without verifying their age?
Judging by the United Kingdom models chat rooms, which are dead, this might have a huge impact on the potential earning on MFC going forward, most of whom were already quiet, the guests and non-tipper accounts made them seem busy and active and probably enticed a lot of the token holders into tipping.
Going to be interesting to see how UK models fare on MFC in the short term, as I reckon many UK customers will ditch MFC for newer and let's face it better cam sites, which is such a shame because MFC was the best site at one time, but they failed to modernise and this new requirement may be another win for their competitors.
I do welcome the age verification requirements, but it should be adopted and implemented by all sites at the same time in line with Law.
