Is it worth camming on adultwork these days?

I used to cam and do phone chat on adultwork.com years ago and it was a fairly good way to earn some money, talking £100-200 an hour. I eventually gave it up though as income declined to the point where I felt it just wasn't worth it anymore. It went from constant custom to sitting for hours on end on DirectCam without as much as a fiver, made even worse when they stopped webcam bookings.

I am trying to weigh up if it is still worth camming on adulwork these days, before I bother registering a new account and going through the verification process?

If you are what the adultwork crowd are looking for then yes I would say it is more than worth it.

There's no reason why you can't earn more than what you was earning at your peak years ago.

However, take a second to look at the direct cam performers online now list and count how many are in group, scroll down and count those in private sessions.

Right now there is ~700 online with around 20 in group sessions and 40 in private mode. That's less than 10% being used. So if you have nothing that makes you stand out you're going to be lost amongst other performers, then you've to consider that many of those in currently in shows (and those not) will have paid to get better positioning.

It's worth giving it a go for nothing.

You're right, I guess I will never know unless I try.

I will get my account verified over the weekend ready to give it a go a few nights next week.
